The Oggioni DUST/DY Gas Detector for VOCs with PID Sensor is a rugged and intelligent gas transmitter for a variety of VOCs. These gas detectors are microprocessor based devices featuring a 4-20 mA output, three voltage free relay contacts which enable full stand-alone capability, and an RS-485 digital interface. They feature an LCD Display of 8×2 characters, are fully programmable, include a built-in or remote sensor transmitter, have bluetooth, and a communication serial line RS-485 with Modbus RTU protocol for diagnosis and maintenance operations. These gas transmitters have a sturdy construction, an IP65 aluminum body, a small size, low power consumption, a non-intrusive “One Person” calibration, sensors with strong poison-resistant properties, and are ideal for detecting combustibles or VOCs. They are built in conformity to the 94/9/CE ATEX Directive and SIL 2, being suitable to be part of safety systems. They comply with: EN-60079-0, EN 60079-29-1, EN-50270 (II 3G Ex nA II T6 IP65).

Product Description

The DUST/DY Gas Detector for VOCs with PID Sensor is designed and manufactured by Oggioni to measure concentrations of combustible gases in the range of 0–100% Lower Explosive Level (LEL) or concentrations of VOCs in the ppm range in an atmosphere generally consisting of air.

A modular design of the transmitters allows the usage of sensors in PID photoionization detectors. Made with SMT technology, the enose® transmitter is extremely compact and sealed in the detector’s head. It may be used either as an autonomous detecting device featuring electrical controls right next to the sensor, or it may be connected to remote data monitoring systems.

The enose® GM2 Sensor Head is a self-contained microprocessor-controlled device with non-volatile memory that allows for non-intrusive calibration with a magnetic tool by a single person. The air sample to be analyzed enters the head’s measuring chamber, where the sensor is located, by convection and diffusion through a flame arrester, sintered stainless steel filter, or wire mesh screened opening.

Thanks to the introduction of the modbus or Bluetooth protocols, it is now possible to establish direct communication between the sensor and your PC, PDA, or mobile phone. This feature allows you to have complete control of all of the sensor’s functional parameters, such as Zero, Span, Sensitivity, Alarm Thresholds, TWA, STEL, and Download maintenance operations reports or the event log.
