In addition to providing standard telephone operation, RED ALERT® WiFi VoIP Telephones feature real-time alarm reporting that enables system supervisors to monitor the telephones’ activity and address caller needs or maintenance issues immediately. Also, four user-configurable inputs and two outputs (ideal for strobe activation) have been provided for customer use. The RED ALERT® Hands-free WiFi VoIP Telephones’ features make them ideal for use in any point-to-point communications application where an existing WLAN can be used for connection to a local VoIP PBX or server.
To view, monitor, set-up, and change settings within each unit, embedded web pages held within the WiFi VoIP Telephone can be accessed over the network using a browser such as Internet Explorer®.In addition to each unit’s real-time email reporting capability, all telephones can be monitored via a central PC utilizing our TMA (Telephone Management Application) software. TMA will systematically poll each telephone on a pre-programmed schedule (daily, weekly, etc.) and provide a single report with a variety of available information pertaining to call activity and fault reporting of the following:
- Configuration error
- Cold reset (caused by power failure)
- Warm reset (caused by internal command or error)
- Keypad errors or stuck buttons
- Microphone/Speaker circuit fault
- Handset off-hook (if so equipped)
- Register fail
GAI-Tronics’ RED ALERT® Hands-free WiFi VoIP Flush-mount Telephones’ rugged, stainless steel construction delivers a robust and weather-resistant solution for virtually any IP communication application. The flush-mount design will install into any recessed application (elevators, walls, etc.) or perfectly into GAI-Tronics’ 234 series stanchions or 236/238 series surface-mount enclosures.
