The Explosion-proof FernTel 3 Zone 2 / 22 Analog Telephone with spiral/steel armored handset cord is specially designed for use in hazardous areas (zone 2 + 22 with gas and dust), applicable both indoors and outdoors (IP65)(-20°C to +55°C temperature range). It comes with/without an LCD display, has a polycarbonate housing, a call tone of approximately 95 dB(A), and a boostable receiver volume (in only 2 steps); (Ex. protection class: II 3G Ex nA ic IIC T5 Gc / II 3D Ex tc IIIC T80°C Dc).

Product Description

The new Explosion-proof FernTel 3 / Zone 2 from FHF is for use in areas with explosive atmospheres (Zone 2 and 22). Its housing is made of impact-resistant and shockproof Polycarbonate and approved for Zone 2 and 22 according to ATEX. Its striking signal color ensures the FernTel 3 / Zone 2 cannot be missed whenever a telephone is urgently needed. The resistance of housing and the use of screws of stainless steel are especially advantageous for use in areas with high air humidity and explosive atmospheres. This telephone can be mounted to a wall or desk.

Application Example

The new Ex FernTel 3 / Zone 2 is the ideal telephone for many different work areas with explosive atmospheres in Zone 2 and 22.
