Product Description
The GAI-TRONICS Division 2 indoor model 341-001 is approved for select Division 2 areas. Three available models offer a selection of high-quality, durable telephones for safe communications in your facility.
Providing communications in Division 2 areas has traditionally required the installation of Division 1 approved equipment, which exceeds the Division 2 standards and drives costs higher than necessary. GAI-TRONICS offers economical alternatives. Our Model 341-001 Indoor Industrial Telephone and Models 351-001 and 226-002 Outdoor Industrial Telephones provide fully-functional, line-powered communications that are approved for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G; and Class III classified areas. Our outdoor models have a Type 3R weatherproof rating. Housed in corrosion-resistant enclosures, these units offer superior resistance to chemicals, solvents, salts, and extreme temperatures. Each unit is equipped with a chrome-plated zinc keypad that is fully sealed to prevent the entry of dirt, contaminants, and water.
The coiled handset cord on our non-metallic models (341-001 and 351-001) is molded from a thermoplastic elastomer to provide outstanding performance, memory, and long life. The armored cord on our Model 226-002 Tough Phone model is rated at 800 lbs. of pull strength. The non-movable handset cradle uses a proximity-detecting switch to take the phone off-hook.
All models are designed for operation within a temperature range of -40° C (-40° F) to 60° C (140° F).
plate provides telephone line access, eliminating visibility of or access to the cabling. Additionally, the corridor telephone is secured with tamper-resistant hardware to prevent vandalism.
The Model 210-001 Corridor Telephone will provide an isolated, dry-contact closure output while the handset is off-hook and connected to the telephone line.
